Quantum LC has donated critical medical equipment to the National Cardiothoracic Centre at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to support delivery of life-saving cardiac care. The donation occurred on February 14, 2025, made on behalf of the company's Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Titus-Glover, his family, and the entire Quantum LC team.
The support includes one PERLOVE PLX5300 Mobile Digital X-ray Machine and three DRAEGERWERK ICU ventilators, designed to complement existing equipment at the Centre and improve its capacity to manage complex heart conditions.
Director of the National Cardiothoracic Centre, Dr. Kow Entsua-Mensah, expressed appreciation to Quantum LC, describing the donation as timely. He noted that several machines at the Centre were aging and increasingly prone to breakdowns. The new equipment would help reduce the cost of major heart surgeries in Ghana and make critical procedures more accessible to patients.

CEO Joseph Titus-Glover stated: "We never know when any of us might require this equipment at the Centre to save our own lives or those of our loved ones. In giving, we are ultimately safeguarding our own future."
Acknowledging prevailing economic challenges, he emphasised that saving lives remained a shared responsibility: "Yes, these are difficult times, but by God's grace, we are still standing. We will work hard to replenish what we give because saving lives is a duty we all share."

The Quantum LC team also appealed for public support, noting that assisting with a single heart surgery costs approximately GH¢10,000 and that over 90 percent of surgeries depend on individual sponsorship. They encouraged individuals to commit to supporting at least one heart surgery annually.
