Mining services company Quantum LC partnered with AngloGold Ashanti to deliver complimentary eye care services to Odumase and surrounding communities in Obuasi East District, Ashanti Region. The Iris Titus-Glover Medical Outreach, established by Quantum LC's CEO Joseph Titus-Glover to honour his deceased mother who suffered vision loss, contributed expertise and resources to the initiative.

The effort expanded upon AngloGold Ashanti's existing mini clinic and health outreach program. Medical professionals from Narh-Bita Hospital and Help Is On The Way Ministries conducted comprehensive eye screenings, distributing free medications and eyeglasses to hundreds of attendees.

Quantum LC's Corporate Social Responsibility head emphasised the company's commitment to three core pillars: community social interventions, local employment enhancement, and economic empowerment of local vendors. The organisation employs approximately eight thousand local residents and prioritises procurement from community businesses.

The comprehensive health initiative at Len Clay School Park in Odumase included general outpatient services, deworming, dental care, and laboratory testing for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, BMI, HIV, and malaria screening. AngloGold Ashanti reported its health programs have benefited roughly 33,000 community members.
